Ambassadors - The Ambassador's mission is to maintain a well-informed, involved, responsive and committed Chamber Membership.  They are "Goodwill Ambassadors" for the Edgecombe County business community and the Tarboro Edgecombe County Chamber of Commerce.  The Ambassadors are the primary agents for recruitment, activation and retention of members.  The Ambassadors also assist with Chamber special events as needed.

Business Development Committee - This committee's mission is to enhance this community to be a "business friendly community" that will allow new and existing businesses to develop, grow and advance.  They support the "Shop Local" program and develop resources to provide mentoring and training to existing and emerging small businesses. 

Education Committee - Works with Edgecombe County schools and Edgecombe Community College in providing children and adults with a level of education excellence that prepares them for their chosen career.

Special Events Committee – This committee’s mission to assist in the planning and staffing of Chamber annual events to include:  Annual Meeting; Summer Festival; TECC Time Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction; Tar River Business Expo; & Christmas Parade.
