Business Referrels The Chamber receives many requests for recommendations on local businesses and services. Our policy is to refer only Chamber members. We also encourage all members to do more business with each other. |
Business Expo Through the Chamber's sponsorship of the annual Tar River Business Expo, members derive the benefits of a countywide marketing program. Your participation will enhance your visibility and recognition level, and thus increase your economic benefit. |
Mailing Lists and Labels Membership mailing lists and/or mailing labels are available to Chamber members for any of your marketing efforts for a small fee. |
Business Resources The Chamber has a varied selection of publications to promote and assist business development in the County. Included are demographics on population, community profiles, area maps, and information guides. All publications are available at the Chamber office at 325 North Main Street. |
Business and Governmental Contacts Through participation in Chamber events and activities, you meet decision makers, and valuable business contacts. You become a part of the Edgecombe County business network. |
Networking You are invited to meet with many other business leaders on a regular basis. The Chamber membership sponsors periodic "Business After Hours" where you can display your promotional materials and exchange cards with community leaders. Other activities throughout the year afford similar opportunities. |
Education The Chamber, in cooperation with the Edgecombe Community College Small Business Center, provides a continuing program of educational offerings. Topics include management seminars, workshops, employee training and upgrading, and personal improvement. Chamber members receive priority notification of all programs. |
Worldwide Publicity Each Chamber member gets a free listing on the Internet in the Chamber's Homepage directory. |
